We celebrated the achievements of graduate students Josiah Wray and Caleb DeWitt (May 2022)
Josiah won a highly competitive Diversity Fellowship - the single one that was awarded to Chemistry this year. The fellowship provides support for a full (glorious!) semester of research.
Caleb got voted the best talk at the Second Annual GRS where he was the sole, bold, first-year student presenter. Although we don't have a recording of this one (Ultrafast X-ray Spectroscopy of Acetylacetone), you can watch his previous (highly recommended!) Chemistry with Peanut Butter Sandwiches TED talk.
