Caleb grew up in Kansas City, MO, and obtained a BS in Chemistry from Truman State University. Caleb chose chemistry, and science in general, because he has always enjoyed understanding how the world around him works. He appreciates being able to look at the blue in the sky and attributing it to Rayleigh scattering of shorter wavelengths or putting yeast in bread and understanding where the bubbles come from. In his spare time Caleb likes to go on runs, read books, and hang out with his friends. He is incredibly passionate about addressing inequities for minority people groups in STEM fields, especially unequal opportunities for STEM education and hopes to utilize his career in Chemistry to improving accessibility of STEM education and research.
