Josiah is pursuing a PhD in chemistry because he has always enjoyed learning about different aspects of science. He had the opportunity to work in analytical chemistry labs during his undergrad where he really enjoyed working on his project while listening to the hum of different instruments running in the lab. He has also had valuable experience working in industry. For fun he really enjoys playing board or video games with friends or spending time interacting with animals like volunteering work.
